The project involved the addition of a new luxury Beach Club component to the existing Ritz Carlton Hotel.
The design was part of a competition executed while I was employed at Uni Engineering Consultancy.
Luxurious Coastal Haven
The architectural design concept for the luxury Beach Club 'retreat' in Qatar is centered around creating a lavish coastal haven that offers a unique and unparalleled experience for guests. The key elements of the concept are as follows:
Visionary Concept: The design aims to embody a visionary concept that sets the Beach Club apart as the foremost luxury retreat in Qatar. It focuses on providing an exceptional level of entertainment, refreshing experiences, and the highest quality features.
Beachfront Outlets: The beachfront outlets are strategically designed to offer breathtaking views of the beach. The architecture takes advantage of the location by incorporating large windows and open spaces that seamlessly blend the indoor and outdoor environments. These outlets are limited to a maximum of two stories to ensure that the natural beauty of the surroundings remains unobstructed.
Family-Friendly Design: The unique design of the Beach Club includes kid-friendly facilities to cater to families. Special attention is given to creating safe and engaging spaces where children can enjoy various activities while their parents relax and unwind.
Master Suites: The project features up to 20 fully serviced master suites, branded under the prestigious Ritz Carlton name. These suites are designed to offer unrivaled luxury and comfort, providing guests with a serene and indulgent retreat. The architecture focuses on creating a harmonious blend of sophistication, privacy, and breathtaking views.
Stand-Alone Villas: The Beach Club also includes 10+ stand-alone luxury Ritz Carlton villas. These villas are meticulously designed to provide an elevated beachfront living experience. They offer impeccable amenities, luxurious interiors, and personalized services, creating a private sanctuary for discerning guests seeking exclusivity and tranquility.
